Subject:How to run on drive other than C on NT
View as plain text
It's a little annoying that the InstallShield installation for NT always
puts mysql under c:\mysql, but the workaround is pretty easy:

1) xcopy the files to d:\mysql or where ever.

2)  when you start the daemon, let it know you are running somewhere else;
for example:

     start d:\mysql\bin\mysqld.exe -b d:\mysql --standalone
