We've been noodling around with using a BigIP switch from F5 networks, but I don't think
that we'll be going that route in the end.
We'll probably be using Ultramonkey (the linux HA project), when it hits 2.0, as it has
built-in methods for seeing if MySQL is up, and intelligently routing to the right place.
