How to log the database repair details.

Dear all,

I want to run the MyIsamchk database repair tool from a VB application using 
the shell function. Now I would like to know how can I get the resulting 
output results into a log file for future references please. Any instant 
help will be highly appreciated please. Any commands or syntax for logging 
files or any procedures are welcome please.
