General Question...

I am considering using MySQL as a major component in our MIS system.  I
really don't want to take on the brain strain of something like Oracle, and
it seems MySQL will do the job.   I plan to use a simple Visual Basic 6
front end via ODBC for the end users.

 If anyone has used MySQL successfully within there MIS system (not
particularly Web based), could you drop me a note.
