Hello,
I am wanting to install MySQL on my Win98SE machine. I have downloaded the
latest release (mysql-3.23.21-beta-win-src.zip).
The only file in the doc directory is a readme. It talks about included
files: mysqld, mysqld-opt, and mysqld-nt, but the .zip didn't contain any of
those files. In fact, there was no BIN folder at all. Have I not downloaded
the correct archive, or do I need to download other files also?
Any and all help in getting MySQL up and running on my windoze machine is
greatly appreciated!
