If you tell us what exactly happens when you do your fresh install etc.
we may be able to help you. Saying it doesn't work gives us nothing to
go on.

Subject: my server was killed for a virus. can i restore my database?

Hi.

I have a crm (vtiger 5.0.4) running in my windows 2003 server.

Some days ago the server was killed for a virus, and was impossible
start it or enable the mysql service to dump the database.

I have a copy of the C:\PROGRAM FILES\vtigercrm5\mysql folder, but i
dont know how can i access to that database.

I try to do a fresh installation of the vtiger, and overwrite the
database folders, but apparently dont work.

How can i recover the database?

thanks in advance.
