The command I used was C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin\mysqladmin" -p root shutdown Then the password was asked and I entered the correct password, But the result was C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin\mysqladmin: connect to server at 'lo calhost' failed error: 'Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'localhost' (using password: YES)' What am I missing here?
