Embedded DB help

Hi All- Please forgive me if posted to wrong UG. But I'm trying to download MySQL Embedded
DB for evaluation purposes for Windows. I cannot find a link to such download on MySQL
site. I downloaded mysql-5.1.22-rc-win32.zip, unzipped, ran setup and selected Custom.
But the 'Developer Component' Node has a red X on it. The Embedded Server, as a result
cannot be installed.   I have called the Sales (twice), it goes to VM, nobody replies. :)
Can anybody on this list please help me? Thx.
