Hello all; I found this comment on the php website: If you are experiencing extremely slow connections to MySQL from PHP from a Windows 2003 Server it may well not be PHP or IIS - try loading mysql in in 'skip-name-resolve'-Mode. It may mean the difference between a 10 second load time and a split second load time. (source: http://ca3.php.net/mysql) is there any truth to this, and if so, how do I do this? Ray
