Is there any setting in 2000 or 2003 to help limit the pagefaults?

I'm looking at 1,182,594 page faults with a uptime of 1 hour 14 min

seems a little high, running windows 2000 with 2 gigs of ram

mysql max memory usage is 427,736k and current is 164,832k with a VM
size of 542,568

I tried turning off the swap file, but windows 2000 wont let you do
that, it'll auto add one when you reboot, and auto increase it, even
when theres' lots of free ram! (I hate windows, but management wont let
me switch)

really wish this was like windows used swap like linux, ie none used
untill physical memory is completely used up
