Christian,
'ping 127.0.0.1' return the following
Pinging 127.0.0.1 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=128
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=128
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=128
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=128
All the indications seem to say TCP/IP is working.
I've tested, numerous times,
MYSQLD Ver 3.21.29a-gamma-debug for Win95 on i586
on Windows95 and WinNT4.0 running on a pentium processor.
This may/may not meaning anything, but I was able to run the
NT version of the Apache web server without any problem, in Win95
as stand-alone and as service in NT4.0.
Thanks,
