Hi!
You do not have to hack on code, but you should be actively
participating in the MySQL Community right now
A good way to start contributing is to hang out on IRC at #mysql,
#mysql-dev, and possibly even answering questions on the mailing list,
or on the forums
You might find this wiki page helpful:
http://forge.mysql.com/wiki/Community_Bonding
You have about a month, to interact with your mentors, your fellow
students, and the MySQL community in general. Remember, participating in
the SoC is meant to integrate you into the MySQL community, with the
hopes that you also stay on as an active participant (like we have had
last year) in the ongoing and current MySQL community
So, from now, till May 26, let's interact
Would students and mentors find a few sessions of IRC meetings, helpful?
Or a Skype call-in?
Kind Regards
