Subject:AW: Cant Open VC 2008 Project FIles fro MySQL++

Hi Warren,

thanks for the fast reply.

I am on a 64 Bit Windows 7 Machine, but VS 2008 is 32 bit, so maybe thats the problem.

Reading the README-Visual-C++.txt, I understand that is not possible to build a 32bit
MySQL++ with VS 2008.

I also understand that I must use VS2003 or VS2005 to build a 32 bit MySQL++.

I am on a 64 bit Windows 7 PC, and neither VS2003 nor VS2005 are compatible with windows
7.

I have VS2008 32 bit and VS2010 32bit installed.

Could you give a a hint , on what tool chain I should use?

thanks

Francisco

You are on a 32-bit system, and are trying to load 64-bit projects. This is explained in
README-Visual-C++.txt, as is the solution.
