Ok It's working now.
These were the final steps.
export CXXFLAGS="-m32 -I/mounts/source/dev_apps/redhat40_32/stlport/515/rev1/stlport
export LDFLAGS="-m32 -L/mounts/source/dev_apps/redhat40_32/stlport/515/rev1/shared/release
#add #include <typeinfo> to the top of .\lib\excpetions.h ( see exception.h this
I have not run anything, yet however.
