Also, are you linking to both the MySQL++ and MySQL C API libraries?

End user programs are only supposed to include mysql++.h, and  
optionally, ssqls.h if they need the SSQLS feature.  mysql++.h pulls  
in every other MySQL++ header, directly or indirectly.
