usage of MySQL ++

Hi,

I am using Fedora Core 6.
I can now use mysql C api function in my C++ program, but I tried many 
methods to install MySQL ++ and use it in my C++ program, but all fails.
Please help me I need the right source files to do configure,make and 
then make install, after that i need linker string.
