We'll need the error text at absolute minimum before we can help you.

Even better would be to convert one of the MySQL++ examples to reproduce 
the problem.  Or, I guess equivalently, copy the problem data into the 
MySQL++ example stock table, and dump the database with mysqladmin, so 
we can reload it without using MySQL++.
