Subject:How to change makefile.vc for VC++7.1?

I know very little about makefile, how to change makefile.vc
So that it will generate debug\coldata.obj rather than debugcoldata.obj
in current(lib) directory?
Afraid of changing the makefile accidentally by me, I download the
package again and re-run, still have the same problem.
