Yes i managed to compile the library and the dll with mingw, by 
following exactly what was said in the 2.0.6 README.vc ...
Then i just updated the paths to the new lib & added the dll to my exe's 
folder in my project and tada!
It even fixed some other problems i was having with that program (i was 
using 1.7.X something before, the one with the VC projects included in 
it, and it had many problems.)
