Sorry, I just realized he sent me direct email, not to the list.  I'll 
send you his email address off-list.

He claims he has a way to make it build, and that he'd post the info 
online and/or take over maintenance of that port.  That was on the 13th 
and 14th of this month.  Since then, silence.
