Thanks Ovidiu
After adding what you suggested my program compiled and linked. Thanks a lot.
But now when I am trying to run my a.out file as follows another error is occurring. Can
you help me on this.

[prompt]$./a.out
./a.out: error while loading shared libraries: libmysqlpp.so.3: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory
