For all upgrades on my Fedora Core 2 I use synaptics except of some
couple of programmes. So MySql 3.23 is upgraded in the standard way and
I use RPM from the tangentsoft.net to install or to reinstall MySql++.
The source programmes I tested were from the mysql++-1.7.21.tar.gz. I
have to say that also my own programes work until this time ok. I also
tested programmes from the "http://www.freebsddiary.org/mysql-capi.php"
and I was successfull.
