First you will have to port libmysqlclient to DOS.  Until you do that, 
this discussion is off-topic for this mailing list, which is about the 
C++ API wrapper MySQL++.  Please take this up on one of the C API 
mailing lists.

Now, if you wanted to use Cygwin under Win32, then we could talk...
