Dear list,
I have also tried
mysql > mysql -u root -p
and every combination there of.
Even though I don't get a command
"Enter Password",
I still type my 'password' on the next arrow
> <my_password>
and then I get the following message
ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual
that
corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near
'mysql
The problem is trivial and I am sure other novices must have encountered the
similar thing.
Thanks.
