Hi, Roman, the Perl client doesn't distinguish between INSERT and INSERT DELAYED. It's quite the same: A string passed to the MySQL server as an instruction. In other words: You've picked the wrong place. The relevant list for the discussion is mysql@stripped. Bye, Jochen
