Installing the MySQL DBI on a FreeBSD box - what's wrong?

Hi

I've tried installing the MySQL DBI module on several FreeBSD boxes (mostly 3.2),
but I've failed miserably on each one. 'make test' stops with 110 of the 115 tests
failed. On my Linux box, however, things work just fine, so I suspect this is a
standard problem (for FreeBSD boxes).

I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction (or
to the mailinglist archives).

I'm using the following versions:
 MySQL 3.22.27				- works just fine
 FreeBSD 3.2-STABLE
 DBI 1.13				- works just fine with PostgreSQL
 Msql Mysql modules 1.2209		- I've also tried 1.2207 (same problem)
