Okay, I got the newer version... now I get:

# Makefile.PL
I will use the following settings for compiling and testing:

  cflags        (mysql_config) = -I'/other/mysql/include'
  libs          (mysql_config) = -L/other/mysql/lib -lmysqlclient -lcrypt 
-lnsl -lm
  nocatchstderr (default     ) = 0
  nofoundrows   (default     ) = 0
  ssl           (guessed     ) = 0
  testdb        (default     ) = test
  testhost      (default     ) =
  testpassword  (default     ) =
  testuser      (default     ) =

To change these settings, see 'perl Makefile.PL --help' and
'perldoc INSTALL'.

Using DBI 1.38 installed in

I know I saw this when I was looking around for my first problem, but now I 
can't find it!
