DBD::mysql 2.9003_01: production version?

Hi,

My copy of CPAN.pm, version 1.76, seems to consider DBD::mysql 2.9002 to 
be the latest released version, even though 2.9003_01 has been out for 
over a month.  

Is 2.9003_01 not suitable for production use?  If not, would it be 
possible to generate a production release of DBD::mysql with the 
bind_param memory leak fix implemented?  That memory leak wreaked major
havoc with a production server here until we were able to track it down.
