Dear sirs,

Is it possible to have a secure (crypted) connection between the client and 
mySQL ?

If yes, how ? SSL ? tunneling ? ???

I am not looking for high-encryption, CIA security, but is it right to assume
that normally connections are transmitted in 'clear' ?

Thanks a lot in advance for any hint :-)

P.S. If you had same info for postresql or other DBs I would be interested, 
too... just in case :-)
