Should i use any options for the gcc when i create ctype-win1251.o ? Or
gcc -o ctype-win1251.o ctype-win1251.c will be enough ?

You mean i will have to run it if the file ctype-win1251.o is not in the
libmysqlstrings.a ?

Between different configure runs we removed hole directory and unpacked the
tar.gz again. So there is no need for distclean unless make keeps some files
not in the local directory and subdirs, does it ?
