Constantine,
Take a look in your mysql lib directory;
/usr/local/lib/mysql/
libdbug.a
libheap.a
libmerge.a
libmyisam.a
libmyisammrg.a
libmysqlclient.a
libmysqlclient.so
libmysqlclient.so.10
libmystrings.a
libmysys.a
libnisam.a
Generally I have found that if you cvs the ports these problems usually go
away. In case you don't want to cvs the ports tree you can try just grabing
the latest from the ports web site. Worst comes to worst you can always try
contacting the port maintainer.
Cheers,
Mikel
