I have several sites I run on a server that I lease space on. They run Linux
and have MySQL installed and available if you want to use it.
Their rates are cheap ( they have to be, or I couldn't mark up the price to
my customers..)

The url is wwww.cyberlandlords.com
Their literature doesn't mention the MySQL, you have to tell tech support
you want it, then the set you up for free..

your isp will or will not provide it for you ... you will not have access to
install it unless you have a dedicated server
