Hi!
please run rpm -qa | grep mysql. Then for erasing use exactly the same
name as is the output from rpm.
Do not use the entire file name of rpm.
If that does not help run rpm -q -l rpm name and see what file is
missing.
Do not listen to others which try to degrade rpms. They are just fine !!!
