FWIW, Red Hat uses this scheme on our mailing lists, and it works well.
Of course, for relevant posts by non-posters there will be a slight delay.
OTOH, it avoids valid posts by members being rejected because they don't
contain any of a specific set of keywords.

An even better approach might of course be to have a mix of these - all
mails by members go through, and the rest have to match a the set of
keywords. It shouldn't make it any easier for automatic spammers, while it
would decrease the numbers of false positives.
