Michael, BAUMEISTER>> No I did not do "make clean". I didn't knew that I had to in order BAUMEISTER>> to update mysqlbug. MW> One must always doe a 'make clean' if one changes any configure arguments. I'm compiling from a fresh tarball each time. <..> MW> I assume you did used gnu make for building MySQL ? No, this was not the case. Yesterday I re-installed and rebuilt everything (gcc-2.95.3 , gnu make) and then mysqlbug was well updated. We may have win a lot of time if I had GNU make from the beginning ... sorry. BAUMEISTER>> I tried 2.7 binary and there was no problem. MW> In that case it's VERY likely this is a bug in the Solaris 2.7 libc library. You mean in Solaris 2.8 isn't it ? BAUMEISTER>> I'll let you know about the Solaris 2.8 patches. MW> ok. Still the same problem. As Sinisa asked me, I'm currently rebuilding Mysql 3.23.35 without Innobase replacing Innobase tables with MyIsam tables. I wiull let you know if I still have the Signal 14 messages. Regards, Alex.
