the "modlog" command lists which patches are installed.  BSDi numbers
patches based on OS version. M400-xx are for 4.0, M410-xx are for 4.1
and so on.  All patches are cumulative, so if you are running 4.1, you
already have all M400-xx patches (or equivalent fixes).
