I tried that, but I get the same message for whatever I try with mysql 
or mysqladmin

Error 1045: Acces Denied for user: 'root@llocalhost' (using password: 
YES)

As if it already has a password for root! But it can't  I erased the 
mysql directory

recreated the database mysql, start the deamon, and try to connect.

It's weird ah?
