dbf2mysql: error in loading shared libraries: libmysqlclient.so.6:

I run dbf2mysql on Redhat 6.2 and get:

dbf2mysql: error in loading shared libraries: libmysqlclient.so.6:
cannot read file data: No such file or directory

Ive already gone to /usr/local/lib/mysql and copied libmysqlclient.so.6
to both /lib and to /usr/lib

Any ideas?
