That's correct. For 5.0.5 I have installed these patches:
UDK Compatibility Module for OpenServer 5.0.5 (ver 5.0.5A)
COFF Linker Supplement (ver oss459b)
E820 Memory Sizing Boot Patch (ver oss610a.Unix505.1.0a)
OSS497C: Core OS Supplement (ver oss497c)
RS505A: Release Supplement for SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.5 (ver rs505a)
RS505A: Software Manager Supplement (ver rs505a)
Year 2000 Supplement for RS505A (ver oss600a)
SCO 5.0.4 has quite a few patches that need to be applied (not just for
MySQL) and if anybody is interested I will post them off list to those who
ask.

For mysql to work you need to install all the patches for the OS. Please
look at http://www.sco.com/ and look up support. Or ftp.sco.com and get
the README.OSR5.Supplements file. Install all the patches. Make sure you
have install the libraries and linker package as well. You will also need
libz.so from either the mysql site or ftp.zenez.com pub/zenez/prgms/...
Good Luck,
