Hi:

We've put a filter in for subjects containing the pobox spam header.
The reasons are:

1. It breaks archive threading. Every time it gets added, the archive
thinks it is a new thread. This makes it harder to retrieve the thread
from the archive and breaks up threads in the digest.

2. It takes up a large fraction of the visible subject line in many
mail readers, yet it is totally without value to recipients of the
reply. Of course, pobox.com should implement this as a separate header,
but meanwhile, if you get your mail through pobox.com, please as a
courtesy to others, remove the spam indicator from the subject before
sending the reply.
