It's a little annoying that the InstallShield installation for NT always
puts mysql under c:\mysql, but the workaround is pretty easy:
1) xcopy the files to d:\mysql or where ever.
2) when you start the daemon, let it know you are running somewhere else;
for example:
start d:\mysql\bin\mysqld.exe -b d:\mysql --standalone
