	ran following commands (from tcsh)
set CC=cc CFLAGS=-O CXX=gcc CXXFLAGS=-O3 ; ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql
gnumake (my alias for Gnu make v3.77)
	
>Fix:
Unfortunately I'm not a qualified programmer so I have no idea (I'm Sys Admin trying to
install MySQL for library staff)
NB: I do not have access to DUX v4.0c version of /bin/ld to try this
