Yes, true, but the SMP for FreeBSD is not as developed as it is in Linux.

 I think I have say this before on this list, but when I had the choice
between a dual CPU on FreeBSD and a single CPU, I went with the fast
possiable single CPU I could get. Later, when SMP under FreeBSD gets better,
I will upgrade the DB server to a Duel. Of course, I have that option to
upgrade later.
