Sounds like you want MyODBC. Its cool because you can write your win32 app to talk to ODBC
in general so you can use existing ODBC code and port it easly to yuor app. MyODBC is very
simple to install and I assume most IDE's support ODBC connections so you will not have to
write the low level stuff.
