Subject:MySQL Distributed DB Clusters?...Would this methodology work?
View as plain text
I recently came across the package "MySQL Cluster" put together by this guy at
http://prometheus.zerodivide.net/mysql_cluster/

and I am trying to figure out what to make of the methodology and
implementation...would this type of (It appears to be mirroring) really
increase performance at all?

For some insert statements that do alot of key changing anyhow that might be
the bottleneck...rather than select statements that do alot of crunching?

In general I'm interested in what people have to say about the implementation
and the feasibility and under what environments would it be of value to
implement it and etc

Thanks for your time,

Eric
