Errors in Tables

Hi!

I have a lot of problems with a table (with 3 fields one integer 11, one varchar 50, and a
tinyint 4), I have to use myisamchk every day to recover this table.
I use alpha-3.23.10 the table has about 4 800 000 Records, only one user use this table to
select/insert/update/delete records (is not a true user but a C robot).

I use Linux 2.2.13 the server is a PIII 500 with 512 Mo RAM hard disk are SCSI UltraWide
II (2940)

The errors I have :
- Error 127 when reading table
- Wrong index size
- Wrong key numbers 
- .....

Does anyone have the same trouble ?
