Bonjour, Mysql 3.22.30, Solaris 2.6. I have the system file descriptors limit set to 1024 and the Mysql table cache set to 1024. How is it possible that sometimes (mostly when Mysql starts) mysqladmin status shows that there are about 1300 open tables. How can Mysql open 1300 tables with only 1024 file descriptors allowed by the OS ? Regards, Alex.
