egcs and macro bugs

I sent the one email I saw on this to a friend and this is his information
back...  If some on could send me more details or bug report it to
egcs-bugs.  I am sure they will get it fixed.

"I don't have enough context to know what's going on here...  If I put
simple scaffolding around this macro, I don't see anything naughty happening.
