into OUTFILE with column headings??

MySQL v.3.21.33b on UNIX.
I would like to have MySQL send the column names to the files when I do a

SELECT  ... into outfile 'x'  command.


That way the file will have headings for all the columns if I am reading it
into a spread sheet.

any suggestions??
