PHP Rocks, and once you get good at it you can redevelop things very fast.
If you like I can send you a program (written in php) that will create your
database interface for you. It is quite simple to generate your own GIF
image's dynamically (with PHP), which has been useful from time to time. I
have no idea how fast it is, but I know that when I ported a database page
from ASP (Microsoft ... thing) the generation time was no longer noticeable
on any of the pages (given it was very simple).
C is good ... but not for web pages.
.. my spell checker reported 'C' as a misspelling and provided 'B' as a
possible solution ...
